This collaboration marks a new milestone in our commitment to more responsible and environmentally aware tourism.
And what better occasion to celebrate this new chapter than the Stati Generali del Turismo Outdoor, held in Venice on 23 and 24 November 2024?
Organised by the CAI – Club Alpino Italiano with the patronage of the Ministry of Tourism, Sport and Health, the City of Venice and Rai Veneto, the event represented a moment of confrontation and inspiration for all players in the sector.
ActiveItaly, with the support of its 34 tourism agencies specialising in active and sustainable tourism, was an integral part of the event. Together with institutions, associations and private operators, we participated in working tables that laid the foundations for a discussion aimed at improving and developing outdoor tourism in Italy.
In recent years, outdoor tourism has seen exponential growth. People are increasingly seeking authentic experiences that bring them closer to nature and local traditions. This type of tourism not only enhances the territory, but promotes an active and conscious lifestyle, reducing environmental impact.
In this context, the ActiveItaly network plays a fundamental role, offering itineraries and activities designed to respect the environment and support local communities.
